Juno: An Indie Film

Juno, like it's older sister Little Miss Sunshine is what I'd like to call a mainstream indie film. Don't get me wrong, I loved both movies, but it always annoys me when films like this take advantage of their genre and exploit themselves for what they are... indie films.

Juno is a very adult movie that people under the age of 13 probably won't enjoy or even understand. Apart from the fact that it's totally inappropriate for that age group anyways, allegations that this is a family film do not have a strong foundation.

Sexual dialogue, shaky morals and nonchalance will most likely leave impressionable viewers with some kinks in their thinks, but I strongly recommend it for those that want to see a heartwarming dramedy about a pregnant teenager.

I don't understand how the movie exploits its genre.
